/Shaping the future of Cybersecurity Training and Education

This workshop aims to bring together all the stakeholders within the cybersecurity landscape, the academics, employers, SMEs, students and larger community to discuss the key challenges in shaping the future of cyber security training and education.

No technical knowledge of the area is required to attend these workshops but an interest in future employment skills needed to provide a sustainable competitive workforce and social cohesion. We are very interested in the requirement drivers and views from local businesses and communities to help us to develop appropriate resources and access to these key skills to ensure an inclusive access to the knowledge and skills in these advancing technical areas that impact most, if not all of us.

10:15 – 10:30 Introduction to IoC

10:30 – 11.30 Short Talks

11:30 – 12:30 Open discussion – What are the key challenges in teaching and training cybersecurity skills?

12:30-1:15 Lunch

1.15-2:15 Open discussion – Use of Games and other Innovative methods to Shape the future of Cyber security education and training

2:15-2:2.45 – Short Demo
