During this 12-week free online short course, you’ll get the skills needed to work as a web developer in the tech industry. You’ll learn how to build accessible, responsive websites as well as learning about coding principles, essential tools, and popular frameworks to take you to the next level of website development.
The course will introduce elements of design theory and philosophy (including important areas like accessibility) before exploring practical techniques for designing effective user interfaces. You will also learn to use some of the industry-standard tools and apply common practices that can help you to develop successful interfaces from scratch.
This cybersecurity Skills Bootcamp is an introduction to the expertise needed for a Security Analyst working with a Security Operations Centre team. It will teach you the critical security skills needed to respond to security incidents and protect systems and organisations from cyber risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. It will challenge you to practice cybersecurity operations in a safe and engaging environment.
By the completing this Skills Bootcamp Learners will:

• Be able to apply knowledge and skills to monitor, detect, investigate, analyse, and respond to security incidents.

There is a surge in the requirement and recruitment of data scientists who can get valuable insights and information from a range of different sources. This Bootcamp will give an introduction to cloud systems, effective use and implementation issues commonly found in technology organisations coupled with by an in-depth practical focus on data analysis, modelling and manipulation leading into AI applications of natural language, image recognition and conversational AI. The course will end with a digital certification examination set by Microsoft which will make all learners sought after for data roles across the region.

You'll learn how to use digital technology to aid the development of applications and product management in arts, entertainment, games, mobile applications, multimedia, and user interface (UI)/user experience (UX) design. You'll also learn the fundamentals of web development.
The Cloud Computing Skills Bootcamp covers the theory and practice of Cloud Computing going into what it is, why it is important and how it works. The Bootcamp will enable you to explain the Cloud as a concept and as a set of services, while exposing you to practical learning of its key components: programming, data and data analytics, and networking. At the end of the course you will have experienced a comprehensive basic introduction and developed skills enabling you to seek work in the area or go on to further study.
