Today is the International Day of LGBTQ+ People in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths
The 5th July 2019 is the second annual International Day of LGBTQ+ people in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) or LGBTSTEM Day.
The first LGBTSTEM Day took place on 5th July 2018 and was predominantly an online initiative with support from organisations big and small. Check out the hashtags #LGBTSTEM and #LGBTQSTEM on Twitter to see the stories being shared today and to join the conversation. You can also check out the Pride in Stem website for more information and a list of resources: https://prideinstem.org/resources-2/
