Come and learn coding online from the Exeter Coding Summer School

The University of Exeter is running a coding summer school, supported by the Institute of Coding, in June and July 2020.

This year the summer school is offered online and will be operating within an online classroom so that we can create the same friendly collaborative atmosphere as for our face to face summer school of previous years.

The summer school will be run over 3 separate weeks and focusses on:

  1. Coding bootcamp (22nd – 26th June)
  2. Social data analytics (29th June – 3rd July)
  3. Machine learning and AI (6th – 10th July)

The summer school includes guest lectures from industry and sector specialists from within the wider University.

The summer school provides an introduction to coding and is open to all UK university students who do not have experience in coding or computer science.  You do not need any experience to attend the summer school, except that for week 3 it would be helpful if you have some basic coding knowledge, or have attended week 1.

If you are interested to attend, sign up now to register your interest.  The deadline for applications is 10th May 2020.

The cost of attending is only the registration fee and is payable only once you are offered a place on the school.
