/Consider A Digital Career

If you want to develop an interesting new career, and didn’t study computing, this event is for you.

The digital economy is growing, with a wide range of new, exciting and well paid jobs that don’t require a computer science degree.

None of our panel members have digital degrees, but they have forged great careers in tech, in local and global businesses.

Come and hear about the new jobs opening up in industry, how they got to where they are, and how you can transfer your ‘non-tech’ skills into these roles.

Panel includes:

Vimla Appadoo, Digital Bridge : ‘Young Digital Leader of the Year 2018’ and ‘Rising Star’ award winner, featured in Sunday Times Style Magazine

Degree: Combined Politics & Modern History and Service Design

Andy Nicol, Strategist & MD : Sputnik Digital

Degree : Civil Engineering

Anna Holland Smith, Automattic : Developer Advocate

Degrees: Law and History

Poppy Rowse, Thoughtworks: Agile Business Analyst

Degree: Childhood Studies

Alec Laurie, Laudale Recruitment : Owner & MD

Degree: Psychology
