/Code First: Girls Web Development Course

This is an 8 week beginner friendly web development course for MMU female and non-binary students who want to learn how to make websites.

The course material is provided by Code First: Girls, a Not for Profit Social Enterprise that aims to increase diversity in tech. The material is taught by MMU students.

The technologies learnt are HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git/GitHub and touches a bit upon frameworks. 

Students receive a certificate at the end of the course provided they attend 6/8 sessions. Students also have the opportunity to take part in course competition where they build a website from scratch in a group.

This course is for complete beginners. 

The first workshop will be Thursday 13th February 5pm-8pm and will reoccur every Thursday until 2nd April 2020.
