/Code First: Girls Python Coding Course

This is an 8 week beginner friendly coding course for MMU female and non-binary students who want to learn how to program but have zero coding knowledge.

The course material is provided by Code First: Girls, a Not for Profit Social Enterprise that aims to increase diversity in tech. The material is taught by MMU students.

The course teaches the fundamental building blocks of programming including data types, loops, functions, lists and touches a bit upon different libraries and APIs.

Students receive a certificate at the end of the course provided they attend 6/8 sessions. Students also have the opportunity to take part in course competition where they build a python app in a group.

The first workshop will be Thursday 11th February 5pm-8pm and will reoccur every Thursday until 31st March 2020.
