/BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium

The BCSWomen Lovelace Colloquium is a free, one day conference for women undergraduates and taught masters students.

2019 will be our 12th event and it will be held in the University of Salford. We had over 100 submissions last year!

The day is free and open to all. The centrepiece of the day, though, is a poster contest which is open to women students studying taught university courses in the UK (this means foundation year, undergraduate, year in industry, and taught postgraduate students).

Students with Successful abstracts will have their travel (and accommodation if necessary) refunded, thanks to sponsorship. The poster contests have prizes (£300 first place, again thanks to sponsorship), and a lot of recruiters will be there, so it’s useful for any students who are looking for jobs.
