Course overview

Technology has fundamentally changed how we learn, making it more engaging but also challenging. This course will help you understand the importance of blended learning and how to use digital methods more effectively into your teaching. These methods will help your learners become familiar with the digital workplaces they will be joining.

You’ll understand the main principles of blended learning, and through practical advice from with teaching and training professionals you will learn how overcome challenges and use resources to make digital technology work for you.

The course focuses on designing a new blended learning activity. This is something you could then try out with your own learners. The course also explores the issues of workload, sharing ideas and designs and collaborating across organisations.

This course is part of the Blended Learning Essentials Program of online courses, which aims to support teachers and trainers to understand blended learning and how to embed it in their practice.
