Who is this course for

This programme is aimed at those with a relevant previous degree or employees with relevant work experience who are high performing or future leaders. It can also be used to up skill new employees, including recent graduates, within the first few years in the business.

Employees who are able to take a key leadership roles within the business and drive innovation forward will excel in this programme. The programme will enable them to become better leaders as well as question and consider the importance of technology in the digital age.

Programme contents

The programme consists of technical modules, as well as a range of core skills modules, delivered in partnership with the Newcastle University Business School.

These modules aim to give students the soft skills needed to succeed in today’s workplace.

Data analytics:

Big data analytics
Data management and exploratory data analysis
Statistical foundations of data science
Statistical learning for data science
Machine learning (with project)
Data visualisation

Soft skills modules:

Leadership and change in the digital age
Digital technology and innovation management
Strategic case analysis

Students will also undertake a six month project with their employer.
