Course overview

This one day session aims to help you develop the core knowledge and understanding of Machine Learning and its application to handling real-world problems.

Who is this course for

DA-X (Data Analytics for Everyone) consists of a series of short courses and clinics, designed by the Institute of Coding (IoC) and University of Sunderland, to help upskill anyone who wants to get to grips with understanding and visualising data to inform decision making and drive greater efficiency or productivity within their workplace.

 

Courses are designed for anyone who works in areas such as administration, marketing, HR, finance or those in business who want to gain the practical skills that can help make better use of their data.

What will I learn

You’ll learn Machine Learning and deep analysis skills through the following topics:

  • Introduction to Machine Learning, Data Mining and Data Analytics
  • Lazy Learning
  • Decision Tree Learning
  • Bayesian Learning
  • Association Rule Mining
